Crafting Joy, One Creation at a Time

Welcome to my little corner of the crafting world!

I’m Bess Corriveau, a Marine veteran, lifelong maker, paper lover, and affectionately called The Crafty Jarhead. Over the years, I’ve collected a lot of crafting supplies. And when I say a lot... fellow crafters know exactly what I mean.

After years of stamping, cardmaking, collecting, and convincing myself that I absolutely needed just one more stamp set, my craft room has accumulated more treasures than I could use.

One Crafter’s Stash Is Another Crafter’s Treasure

My Craft Room Destash is where you’ll find retired and previously loved Stampin’ Up! supplies from my personal collection.

You may discover retired stamp sets, dies, punches, paper, embellishments, tools, and other crafty odds and ends that deserve to be creating something beautiful instead of sitting on my shelves.

These items are no longer available from Stampin’ Up!, which makes the hunt even more fun. You never know when that stamp set you missed or the one you’ve been searching for might show up.

Because these are destash items, quantities are usually very limited. In many cases, there’s only one available. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Why Destash?

Because craft supplies are meant to be used.

I love the idea of sending supplies I’m no longer using to another crafter who will turn them into cards, gifts, scrapbook pages, and happy little paper creations.

It gives my craft room a little breathing room, keeps perfectly good supplies out of the trash, and gives you the opportunity to find retired crafting treasures at a great price.

Everybody wins.

Well... except perhaps my craft room, because we all know I’ll eventually find something else to put in the newly empty space.

About The Crafty Jarhead

The name The Crafty Jarhead is a little nod to two important parts of my story: my years serving in the United States Marine Corps and my love of making things.

The Marine in me likes things organized.

The crafter in me keeps buying paper and other craft supplies.

It’s an ongoing conflict.

These days, I enjoy the simpler side of crafting—making cards, playing with paper, sharing creativity, and finding ways to brighten someone’s day with something handmade.

My shop is an extension of that.

Whether you’re hunting for a retired Stampin’ Up! set, adding to your own craft stash, or simply browsing to see what treasures have escaped from my craft room this week, I’m glad you’re here.

Take a look around.

You never know what you might find.

Semper Fi & Happy Crafting!
